월터의 상상은 현실이 된다 삽입곡 데이빗 보위 'Space Oddity" by Chris Hadfield - 가사 수정

영화 '월터의 상상은 현실이 된다' (The secrete life of Walter Mity) 의 삽입곡..

늘 공상만 할 뿐, 우유부단한 월터가 과감하게 헬리콥터에 올라탈 수 있도록 격려하는 배경음악으로 쓰였다. 

원곡은 인간의 달착륙을 기념해 데이비드 보위가 1969년 발표한 'Space Oddity'로, 거의 나만큼이나 오래(?)된 곡인데,

단순한 리듬에도 불구, 지금 들어도 전혀 촌스럽지 않으면서 은근 중독성까지 있다.

영화를 통해 재조명받고 있지만, 엉뚱하게도 영화 OST 보다는, 

실제 캐나다 우주비행사인 Chris Hadfield 가 우주정거장에서 직접 만들어 유투브에 올린 뮤직비디오가 더 인기 ~

영화 Gravity의 후광을 상당 부분 받았겠지만, 우주정거장이란 실제공간에서 자신만의 음색으로 재탄생시킨

Chris Hadfield 기획력과 음악성은 인정해야 할 듯 ~  

데이비드 보위 원곡 가사는 우주비행사의 조난을 암시하면서, 

자기 아내에게 사랑한다는 말을 전해달라는 부탁을 남기며 비극적으로 끝나는데,

아무래도 현직 우주 비행사에게는 이 가사가 부담스러웠는지, 부분적으로 수정을 가했고,

Chris Hadfield 는 무사히 지구로 귀환했다. 

가사를 음미하면서 들으면 더 와 닿는 곡인데,

인터넷에는 David Bowie 원곡 가사만 있을 뿐, Chris Hadfield 버전 가사가 없어...

바뀐 부분은 따로 녹취해서 삽입했다.
